Calculus

A lamppost supports a light 20 meters above
the ground. Twelve meters from the lamppost, a ball that is
being held 20 meters above the ground is released and allowed
to free-fall to the ground. The ball’s shadow, caused
by the light at the top of the lamppost, is moving along the
level ground toward the base of the lamppost. How fast is
the shadow moving one second after the ball is released?
